Staples/Kiwanis Partnership
School Supply Drive

As Canadians gear up for another school year, Staples Canada launches its annual School Supply Drive to help give students a boost. With the goal of eliminating barriers to education, the back-to-school charitable program has raised more than $16 million to-date, thanks to donations from Staples customers.
From early August to mid-September, customers shopping in-store at Staples can choose to add a donation to their purchase, which is allocated The Kiwanis Club of Elmira, a charitable partner of Staples’. “Some children in our communities don’t have the same benefits as others. This partnership with Staples and Kiwanis has benefited thousands of underprivileged kids with the Back to School and backpack programs,” said Peter Tudisco, Governor, Kiwanis Club Cambridge. “Kiwanis is all about supporting kids and Staples has stepped up with this program. I look forward to a long association and to assist in making a young child’s life just a little bit better.”
Elmira Kiwanis donates the funds raised to six local elementary schools: Conestogo P. S., Floradale P. S., John Mahood P. S., Park Manor Senior School, Riverside P. S., and St. Teresa’s S. S.
