Combat Hunger

Addressing the urgent issue of food
insecurity to ensure no child goes hungry.
We support Nutrition for Learning, and
lead (in partnership with the Elmira
Optimists Club) the Funds-for-Food
Drive across all of Woolwich Township.

Enhance Literacy

Promoting education and literacy programs
to empower children with knowledge
through multiple scholarships, the Kiwanis /
Staples School Supply Drive, IT Tender,
Nutrition for Learning, and more.
See “What We Do” for details.

Provide Mentorship

Offering guidance and support through mentorship and leadership programs for a brighter future. We support EDSS Robotics, Scouts, Cadets, and 4H; and send youths
to Key Leader Weekend every year
for leadership development.

Since its establishment in 1974, the Kiwanis Club of Elmira has stood as a shining example of community service and involvement. As a vital part of the local fabric, it fosters a spirit of volunteerism and support, aiming to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents.
Through its dedicated efforts, the club has become synonymous with positive change and community betterment.
Our guiding principle is to create environments where children can flourish – protected and encouraged by a network of support. It’s this commitment that propels us to initiate and sustain programs designed to offer young individuals the chance to reach their full potential in nurturing surroundings.
