The parade typically attracts hundreds of children and their guardians to what has become one of the largest community parades held locally. The success of the parade is dependent on community-wide involvement including: Kiwanis members assist with all facets of preparation and delivery of the parade including planning, fundraising, serving as parade marshals, costumed characters, barricade erectors, etc.; community organizations, businesses enter floats; the Legion graciously offers up their facility as well as supplying cookies and hot chocolate to parade participants; and local township officials and staff assist with providing safety assistance.
