It all started for the Elmira Kiwanis Club back in 2001. Tom Hendrick had just attended a trade show in Germany and tasted really great potato pancakes on the street. The recipe was sent to us by Chamber of Commerce in Cologne. 

After many years of serving “temperamental” potato pancakes (often undercooked or overcooked), we have ventured on to schnitzel on a bun, “buggy wheels” (Beaver Tail type delicacies) and others. We’ll be back in 2025 and beyond with more yummy treats on the Maple Syrup “mall”!
