The Elmira Kiwanis Club provides four scholarships of varying amounts to Elmira District Secondary School (EDSS) students every year.

Kiwanis Technical Education Academic Award: $1,000 Presented to an outstanding Technological Education student who not only displays a high level of skill in technology but also maintains an overall average of 80%. The student is chosen by EDSS.

W B Hill Kiwanis Club of Elmira Scholarship: $500 Awarded to an outstanding student who has not only participated in the EDSS music program but has also participated in extra-curricular activities. The student is chosen by EDSS.

Kiwanis Canadian Foundation Award: $1,000 Recognizes and supports a deserving student in pursuit of education, high personal goals and community responsibility. EDSS accepts the applications, scrutinizes them and presents the top candidates to the Elmira Kiwanis Club. A committee comprised of club members interviews the students and chooses the recipient. The student must fulfill the requirements above and also display a need for the award.

Elmira Kiwanis Club Award: $125 EDSS chooses the student.
