The Elmira Kiwanis Club financially supports the 1st Elmira Scout Group, made up of 4 sections: 1 Beaver Colonies, 1 Cub Pack, 1 Scout Troop, and 1 Venturer Company. The Scouters (leaders) in each section are supported by a group committee. The committee is responsible for ensuring the programs offered meet Scouts Canada’s guidelines and that each section has enough resources to operate effectively. The 1st Elmira Group Committee meets the third Thursday of every month at the Scout Shed. New volunteers are always welcome.
